I have just returned from several days in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the Smart Energy conference. The event provided timely updates on clean energy developments in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, including efforts to reduce carbon emissions and expand renewable energy infrastructure.

Spotlight: Triple Point’s Salt Dome Storage Project

Triple Point’s Salt Dome energy storage project was one of the key projects discussed. Located on the west coast of Newfoundland, the project is expected to require:

• 700 construction staff
• 70 operational staff once the facility is established
