Pedal & Shift Selected to Deliver the Canadian Delegation to WindEnergy Hamburg 2026

Objective

econext and Marine Renewables Canada have engaged Pedal & Shift, through a competitive process, to deliver the Atlantic Canadian Delegation Program to WindEnergy Hamburg 2026, taking place September 22–25 in Hamburg, Germany. WindEnergy Hamburg is the world's largest wind energy trade fair, held every two years and drawing around 1,600 exhibitors from across the global industry. We will support a delegation of 10 Atlantic Canadian companies ahead of the event, and support them at the event throughout.

Approach

Preparation began well ahead of departure, building each company a researched target list of relevant companies and contacts in the market, and using that research to book a schedule of group visits and presentations, as well as one-on-one meetings. Each delegate will also receive a market brief covering the landscape they're entering and will take part in a pre-mission webinar to align the group ahead of the trip.

In Hamburg, Ian Froude, Lauren Fraser, and Abdelrahman Mohamed from our team will be on the ground for the full event, working directly with delegates as they move through their meetings and build new relationships on the show floor.

This program reflects our market-entry approach applied at delegation scale, and builds on relationships we've invested in over time.

Outcomes

• Each participating company will arrive with a researched target list of relevant companies and contacts in the market, rather than starting from zero on the show floor.
• A booked schedule of one-on-one meetings will be confirmed before departure, so delegates spend their time at the event building relationships rather than identifying who to talk to.
• A market brief will be prepared for the delegation, covering the landscape they're entering, paired with a pre-mission webinar to prepare the group ahead of travel.
• On-site support will be provided throughout the event in Hamburg, with three members of our team on the ground for the full four days, September 22–25.
